There aren’t too many mistakes that can be undone. It would be nice get a mulligan on some of the embarrassing and stupid things that we do but we don’t get one. You can’t undo the time that you threw up on your prom date’s dress or when you got your tongue stuck to that frozen metal pole. The damage is done.

We’ve seen plenty of examples of people making mistakes that bring around unintended consequences. Social media is a great example. All you need to do is search the net for “embarrassing Facebook posts” or “social media fails” and you will find innumerable comments that the authors would love to take back. You’ll find accidental admissions of infidelity, hilarious double entendres, and loads of other posts and photos that leave you wondering if there should be some kind of a test before you are allowed to post things on the internet. It’s reassuring to know that you can delete posts that you make on most social media sites. Unfortunately for those who have a lot of followers, in the short time between posting something and removing it, there’s a good chance that somebody will see it and make a copy for all to see. 15. Cody Simpson

Cody Simpson isn’t exactly a pioneer when it comes to originality. One of his biggest successes was the 2010 song “I Want Candy” which, of course, is a remake. He has also recently taken his act to the big screen with his role of Ivan Konig in the movie North Shore Wave Warrior. Not surprisingly, the not-so-anticipated film is a remake. One of the more original moments in Cody’s life came when he got egged in 2011 during a performance in Sydney. Even that wasn’t original, as Justin Bieber had been nailed in the head with a water bottle during a performance no long before that. Trying his hardest to do something unique, Cody posted and then quickly deleted this photo of himself which showed off his cheeky side. Yeah, we haven’t seen anything like that before. Sigh!!

14. Justin Bieber

When it comes to doing regretful things and acting like a complete moron; nobody does it quite like Justin Bieber. He’s young, rich, and he seems to make headlines on a daily basis. Just like herpes, he might fade away for a short time but he always reappears. The Biebs thought that it would be a good idea to post this picture in which he exposed his backside on Instagram. While the photo might hold a certain degree of symbolism, he had second thoughts about its artistic value and quickly deleted it. That didn’t stop his legions of fans from taking screenshots and saving them for posterity. We can only hope that these fans were the 13-year-old girls and not the 12-year-old boys that wanted to preserve this image.

13. Kendall Jenner

Kendall Jenner of the infamous Kardashian/Jenner clan is known to be a lot more conservative and reserved than her famous attention-seeking relatives. That doesn’t mean that she doesn’t have the occasional “Hey everyone!! Look at me” moment. This picture shows her posing in a doorway while she is wearing a sweatshirt that has the caption “I Have No Tits” written on it in capital letters. She posted it to her social media before thinking twice and promptly removing it. Despite her quick thinking, her followers had already copied the pic and flooded the internet with it. Way to go!! Now everybody knows. It’s probably just a matter of time before the 21-year-old “personality” follows in her famous sisters’ footsteps and remedies the situation with a visit to the plastic surgeon.

12. Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez was definitely more tolerable when she was unknown. Unfortunately, the 25-year-old actress and singer got famous. Thanks a pant-load Disney!! Even worse is that she has had this weird relationship with D-bag extraordinaire, Justin Bieber, through which she seems to have absorbed some of his less than desirable characteristics. When she’s not busy lobbing verbal grenades as part of her never ending petty public spats with various other celebrities, Selena likes to show the world that she can be just as idiotic as the other celebrities on this list. She posted this picture to her Instagram account just long enough for her followers to make copies before she took it down. Some speculated that she was trying to make The Biebs jealous but it turns out that the legs that are intertwined with hers are actually Bieber’s.

11. Nicola Hughes

We’ve got to feel a little sorry for the multi-talented Nicola Hughes. It’s a funny scene to imagine. She refreshed her makeup, found the perfect angle and lighting to show off those stunning blue eyes, and then snapped her selfie. An oblivious Nicola uploaded the new picture to her social media page and waited for the comments and thumbs up to come rolling in. We’re not too sure how long it took for the theatre actress to realize that she’d been photo bombed in a most embarrassing manner. One thing’s for certain; when she finally found out she deleted the offensive pic right away. After all, what self-respecting woman wants to be seen with a naked guy in the background getting down to “Everybody Have Fun Tonight” by Wang Chung? Not Nicola.

10. Harry Styles

Harry Styles has quite a bit to be proud of. He pretty much carried the band One Direction who went into hiatus after Harry’s recent departure. He has embarked on what looks to be a successful solo career and he recently made his foray into acting with his role of Alex in the newly-released feature film, Dunkirk. He loves to pose for cameras in various flamboyant fashions and he is very active on social media. He’s also prone to making an absolute fool of himself as he did when he posted this photo in which he appears to have wet his pants. The accompanying caption informed his followers that he “had an accident”. Yeah, that’s something to be proud of!! Could it have been a clever ploy to snag an endorsement deal from Depends?

9. Dean McDermott

It’s pretty safe to say that Dean McDermott isn’t one who pays attention to details and this picture provides some pretty compelling evidence. The reality show veteran and star of the television series Slasher took this rather innocent looking photo of one of his sons and posted it to his Instagram account. Awww…What a cute kid. If you’re wondering why he has his eyes closed then you might want to check out his mom’s fully exposed breasts right behind him. We know, kid. A few people are doing the same thing right now. Apparently, Dean had no clue that he’d just put his wife’s rack on display for the whole world to see. He took it down within minutes of discovering his faux-pas and we can be pretty sure he got quite the tongue lashing from Tori.

8. Austin Mahone

Unless you are a 14-year-old school girl, there’s a pretty good chance that you have never heard of this 21-year-old singing sensation. Mahone started out posting videos on YouTube when he was about 14. He slowly gained an online following and was eventually signed to a record label. Like most young stars, Austin loves to take selfies and, like most young stars, he doesn’t always think things through before posting them to Instagram. This picture is an example. He posed for himself while dressed in a towel and put it on his social media page. He either thought that it was a little too risqué for his young fans or he may have thought that he looked too similar to Christian Bale in The Machinist. Whatever the reason, he deleted the photo within minutes.

7. Miranda Kerr

This world-famous brown-haired and blue-eyed model might be 34 but she but she maintains a natural beauty and glow that makes her look closer to 24. At least, that’s what we see in magazines and on the internet. It’s actually difficult to know exactly what she looks like when she’s been caught in so many photoshop fails. We have a prime example of this in the above side-by-side images. Exhibit A is the photo on the left which shows Kerr with her eye-popping 34-24-34 figure. Take a good look at her waist and then compare it to her waist in the photo on the right. Huh? Miranda posted the picture on the right to her Instagram but she took it down within minutes after she was called out on the image’s authenticity.

6. Kylie Jenner

Wait!! What? Another member of the Jenner/Kardashian klan posting shocking photos on the internet? Even more shocking is that it’s not Kim, Khloe, or the other less famous one. This time it’s Kylie Jenner. She’s usually the family’s version of the Beatles’ George Harrison or Led Zeppelin’s John Paul Jones in the sense that she is normally seen as the quiet one. At first glance, there’s nothing really too controversial about this picture. In fact, it’s rather tame by most standards. A lot of guys are probably looking at it with lustful eyes right now until they realize that Kylie was just 15-years-old when she posted it. Kylie, or maybe one of her wholesome half sisters thought that it was a little too much for the internet and it was taken down.

5. Daniella Monet

Just on the off-chance that you are unfamiliar with Daniella Monet, the 28-year-old actress/singer is another one of those Disney alumni who appeared in such shows as Zoey 101, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, and iCarly. If you are still stumped then check out Nickelodeon’s Paradise Run. She’s the host. She’s a vegan and an animal welfare activist who posed for a PETA ad that encourages students to stop dissecting animals in class. She’s also against eating fish despite Kurt Cobain saying that it’s ok to do so because they don’t have any feelings in the song “Something in the Way”. Daniella took this steamy selfie while wearing a revealing bikini but she deleted it within minutes. People generally don’t pay much attention to her but this photo gained her a whole new fanbase.

4. Billboard Magazine

No. Billboard Magazine isn’t a celebrity per se but this entry on the list of 15 shocking celebrity photos that were deleted within minutes is quite shocking and it involves Kim Kardashian who hasn’t been mentioned yet. Billboard posted an innocent looking photo of Kim Kardashian and North West on their Twitter account. North appears to be licking some kind of candy while Kim looks like she’s giving him instructions on how to do it. The joke kind of writes itself but Billboard had to put it into words when they commented that “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree…” As you could imagine, the Tweet was met with much furor. And rightly so. There’s no need to involve their child in any smears. Billboard removed the tweet and apologized.

3. Jennifer Lopez

By now, it’s a widely known fact that Jenny from the Block has been canoodling with a new beau, ex-MLB star and steroid poster child Alex Rodriguez. However, it wasn’t too long ago that the two were trying desperately to keep their blossoming romance to themselves. The sexy 47-year-old entertainer was vacationing in the Bahamas with Rodriguez when she posted this grainy selfie for her Instagram followers. It suddenly dawned on her that posting a picture of herself cuddling up with the former Yankee slugger was not the best way to go about concealing their secret relationship so she took it down within a few minutes. The two have since come out of the closet, so to speak, and their romance has been making headlines for a few months now.

2. Beyonce

Isn’t she lovely? Isn’t she beautiful? Doesn’t Beyonce have great legs? Of course she does!! They’ve been photoshopped!! She posted this picture of herself looking sexy as she descended the stairs but she took the photo down within minutes. Beyonce is one heck of an artist in a musical sense but she isn’t such a great artist in the photoshopping sense. She must have noticed that she forgot to tidy up the warped portion of the stair that can be clearly seen directly under her, umm, nether regions. You can see in the reflection on the wall that the step is perfectly straight like a step should be but that step is out of alignment in the digitally altered area. This isn’t the first time the superstar has been caught doing this either.

1. Kylie Jenner (Again)

Kylie thought she’d try to fool her Instagram followers when she posted this selfie in which she’s showing off how great she looks in her bikini. She’s sure got some great curves. So does the doorway. Wait a minute…why are the floorboards out of alignment at the bottom left of the shot? What is that mysterious white wedge between the door and the railing in the hallway? And what’s with all the pixilation on her legs and waist? Most people would be embarrassed to try to pass this shoddy piece of work as genuine. Kylie must have put on a pair of reading glasses and seen for herself how ridiculously phony this picture looked so she deleted it from her account. Here’s some advice: Quit taking selfies for a few minutes and learn how to photoshop.
