It’s not easy being a judge, especially when you have to make a ruling that will change a person’s life forever or worse end it. Apart from having to deal with criminals who are out to kill you right after sentencing, it’s heartbreaking that judges have to deal with grown men crying like babies.

According to most traditional and ancient sayings from different cultures around the world, when a man cries, it’s often because it’s extremely heartbreaking. However, in new circumstances, men haven’t been the so called emotionally superior creatures that they have been portrayed to be in the past, and some men are more babies than men when it comes to pulling tantrums and whining like a spoilt brat at the convenience store. What’s worse is when you are heartless cold blooded convicted killer, and you are caught on camera crying your heart and eyes out like a teenage girl who just got dumped by her two-week old high school boyfriend. If you are ruthless enough to take another’s life why not stand up and accept the charges like a man (clearly some are more than others). 15. Man Weeps in Court after life sentence

Well, if you are going to commit murder, then why on earth would you be a sissy about it, and especially after pleading guilty? Cold blooded murders have completely gone soft, and their predecessors must be turning in their graves from wherever they received the lethal injection from. However, before sentencing, this cold blooded killer did a noble thing and apologized to the victim’s family. However, the family wanted none of that and told the reporters that they did not believe it was sincere. Word of advice to new age cold blooded murderers, if you are going to take someone’s life don’t be a crybaby!

14. Man Charged in Mother’s brutal Stabbing Cries in Court

Well, the drama queen of the year award has to go to Blake Jefferson. Okay, let’s be a little bit serious about this. Blake Jefferson was accused of stabbing his mother to death. During a court hearing and ruling, Blake Jefferson, who was at the time clad in an Orange Jumpsuit (totally made everything worse) cried and heaved with emotion in front of the whole courtroom at his initial court appearance. Something must have made him snap. Either way, even if he cries hard enough to get the coastguards summoned, there is no getting away from this one!

13. Teen Accused of burning his 14 Month Old Brother Weeps uncontrollably in Court

According to the prosecutor, this young man intentionally burnt his 14-month-old baby brother walked out of the house and watched it burn to the ground. While the accused pleaded not guilty, the prosecutor’s office had evidence that multiple fires had erupted from the premises in which he and his young brother were in. This proved that the accused had intentionally lit the fires in the house. He also didn’t make any attempt to try and save his little brother or even call 911 for backup. During the prosecutor’s statement, the accused could be seen weeping and saying a silent prayer. That dint saves him from being convicted though.

It’s hard to think of how a grown man could be capable of killing a defenseless baby, and in a way, it explains how such men can’t help but cry in the courthouses. Dylan Shumaker was accused of brutally killing a baby he was supposed to be babysitting. During a court hearing where he was pleading for the minimum sentence, he broke down into tears and even apologized to the victim’s family wishing that he could exchange his life for that of the dead child. His lawyer tried to persuade the judge stating that Dylan might not have been in the right state of mind while committing the crime.

You need to have the heart of a dragon and balls of steel to commit this kind of crime, that’s what most people would think of a person who is brutal enough to kill a law enforcement officer, WRONG! Mr. Thomson let his heart out like Mexican actress in half packed courtroom stating that he was frustrated by the legal procedures of the case. Crying profusely like a teenager who had been busted by her parents for getting drunk, he let his heart out to the judge claiming that he was being harassed while in jail. 10. Accused of being a Serial Rapist

Well, this was a bit disturbing, but apparently, this man was accused of a series of rape incidents that lead to his arrest. The Jury concluded that he was guilty after all the court testimonies were over, the accused man couldn’t help cry his eye out like a baby while the judge read his sentence. He was crying uncontrollably the court marshals had to support his to stand over on the bench while the judge read his sentencing. The man had been accused of raping some women who had testified and identified him as a serial rapist. We all know what awaits men like him in jail. Word of advice, whatever you do in prison, don’t drop the soap bar in the bathroom.

9. Couple Weep uncontrollably after Sentencing

A young white couple wept openly in a court in Douglasville Georgia after they were sentenced for a hate crime at an eight-year old’s birthday. The couple was accused of storming into an eight-year old’s birthday with a caravan truck waving the Confederate flag. The couple shouted at both adults and children who were attending the party that they would “ Kill Y’all N…s” while brandishing the flags at them. After causing havoc at the party, they went ahead to terrorize a nearby Wal-Mart store. This couple had it coming. Joel Ismael Torres could not help breaking into tears with his partner after the judge made his final ruling.

8. Man Jailed for 16 years in Rape case has conviction tossed

Well, this is a different kind of breakdown, while most of the grown men on this list broke down into tears after sentencing for the crimes that they had committed. Luiz Lorenzo broke down uncontrollably because his conviction was tossed after spending 16 years behind bars. Back in 1999, Mr. Lorenzo warned the judge before sentencing that he was innocent and the person who had committed the rape assaults might be outside there raping someone. True to his word, 16 years later, the court found him innocent, and Lorenzo could not help but break down into tears. He had been sentenced to life for three sexual assaults.

7. Mastermind Of Norway Massacre breaks down after sentencing

Mr. Anders Breivik was on trial for the murder of 77 people in twin attacks that took place in Norway. He was captured by cameras crying his heart out after the judge finally made his ruling. He later confessed to reporters that he was not in tears due to the sentencing but because he was sad to see his country dying (What an excuse). Whether Mr. Breivik was crying because of the sentencing or not, we can never be sure, but one thing we are sure of is that he broke down immediately after sentencing, either way, a bad man is behind bars, and the world is a little bit happier and safer.

The ex-NFL player who was serving a life sentence at the Souza-Baranowski Correctional facility broke down into an uncontrollable tear drop session besides his defense attorney after the judge found him not guilty for the shooting of two men back in 2012 in a drive by shooting in Boston. He broke down in tears and was even captured blowing kisses to his daughter right after the ruling on his case.

5. Oregon Man Accused of Verbally attacking Muslim Couple

Well, if you are going to be racist, then there is no reason on earth you should be caught on camera crying like a baby. An Oregon man was arrested by Portland Bias Crime Unit for allegedly verbally attacking a Muslim couple in public. He pleaded not guilty to second-degree intimidation in a Multnomah County courtroom. He later broke down into an uncontrolled crying spree after the trial. He insisted that he never tried to run into them, he was on his way to work and didn’t attempt to make any contact with them. He later confessed that he was just ignorant and that he needed education (he does).

4. Waterford man who was arrested after Racist Tirade

It’s come to our realization that Racist men have a thing about crying, and especially after they have been caught. They just can’t help flooding the courthouses with their tears. Alexander Jennes Downing who was visiting South Padre Island in Texas was arrested by police after they had been alerted about his racist tirade. A member of the family who was harassed by Downing shared the video on Facebook that incriminated downing of his racist assault on the family. Downing was caught on Camera yelling at the family that included young children saying, “You’re a f—— Muslim motherf——–.” Well, after all that hate speech, Downing couldn’t help crying his lungs out when his mugshot was taken. Both his video and mugshot went viral after the incident was posted on social media.

3. Ohio Man Cries in Court after being charged with Five Murders

An Ohio man who was charged with five murders that included a 71 year old man, 64 year old lady, 45 year old lady, 21 year old young woman, and 18 year old teenage girl could help whining and crying like a baby as he was ordered held on $75 million bond, $25 million for each of the victims. George Brinkman Jr. was captured crying as the judge read the sentence in Parma Municipal Court. He was shackled, and one of his arms was in a cast as he looked down through most of the court hearing process. If the crying meant he was sorry, there is a fat chance he is getting away with it.

A 23-year-old man cried like a baby in Magistrates Court moments after being sentenced to two years at Bahamas Department of Correctional Services after being accused of a dozen of charges that ranged from death threats to assaulting a police officer. This embarrassing tearful display came after the magistrate questioned him over the accusation that he had stolen items worth $3,375 after breaking into a woman’s Marshall Road home. The 23-year-old man pleaded guilty of all the charges and asked the magistrate to forgive him since he was homeless and had nowhere to stay. Well, if you ask me, he has a new home in the Bahamas and hundreds of family members behind the cage. At least he won’t be alone this Christmas.

Well, if you have worked in a courthouse before then you have a rough idea when someone is going to break down and flood the courtroom with tears. Some of the common signs include trembling fingers, sniffling or the telltale blow of the nose. This is exactly what happened to Carl Kruger after he pleaded guilty in United States District Court for accepting bribes as a Democratic state senator from Brooklyn. Well, it’s not every day that you see politicians crying like babies in court, and this was a perfect example. The powerful senator’s wad of tissues emphasized the humiliation of the moment.
