15 Steamiest Female Olympians EVER

Career
15 Steamiest Female Olympians EVER

Although the Olympics date back to around 776 B.C, the first modern Olympic Games were held in Athens on April 6, 1896. 14 countries sent their finest athletes to compete in 43 events. However, only men competed in the inaugural Olympics. An American by the name of James Connolly took the first-ever medal by winning the triple jump on the first day of competition. The second Olympics took place in Paris in 1900. This time there were four times the number of competitors and 10 more countries being represented. There were also 95 events and, unlike the previous Olympiad, women competed.

Since then, there have been 28 Summer Olympics held in 23 different cities and 22 Winter Olympics that have been held in 19 cities. There are also a lot more events these days which means that there are more athletes and nearly half are women. In fact, the United States sent more women than men to the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio. Of course, not all of us watch Olympic events strictly to appreciate athletic ability. Many like to tune in to watch some of the most beautiful women on Earth strut their stuff. Beach volleyball, aquatics, and other events like track and field feature a lot of great looking women that audiences drool over. Let’s give our eyes an Olympic workout as we take a look at the 15 steamiest female Olympians ever. You might want to stretch first.

15. Alex Morgan

Alex Morgan was born in San Dimas, California and played multiple sports throughout her school years. She started to play club soccer when she was 14 and she was quickly recognized for her speed and agility. When she was just 17, she got called up to the U.S. under-20 women’s team. The California girl went on to play for the California Golden Bears at UC Berkeley where she led the team in scoring four years in a row. She has since blossomed both professionally and physically. She recently signed with Olympique Lyonnais in France after several seasons in the NWSL. There really shouldn’t be a need to point out the obvious fact that this 28-year-old is one smoking-hot specimen. If only her uniform was as revealing as her choice in bikinis.

14. Anna Kournikova

What list of beautiful female Olympic athletes would be complete without having Anna Kournikova on it? Sure, she only made one unmemorable appearance in the Olympic Games back in 1996 when she was just 15 but she will always be one of the most memorable female tennis players of all time. She was once ranked 8th overall but injuries including a herniated disc forced her into retirement at the ripe age of 21. She earned about 3.5 million in prize money and loads more in endorsements. It wasn’t her superior ability on the tennis court that propelled her to stardom. Rather, it was her outrageously stunning looks that got her so much attention. Anna is now 36 years old and she continues to turn heads in Miami Beach where she plays in the occasional charity event.

13. Eugenie Bouchard

One sport that boasts a bevy of beautiful women is tennis and Eugenie Bouchard is an example. At just 23 years of age, this Canadian superstar and 2016 Rio Olympian is ranked 79th overall and has been ranked as high a 5th. She’s already earned over $5.5 million over her short career but her progress has stalled a bit in the past two years since she suffered a concussion in 2015. If she is unable to get back to her winning ways then she can probably pursue a career in modelling. In fact, there are plenty of people that would love to see her get into modelling even if she does start winning again. It’s little wonder that women’s tennis is enjoying increased viewership when you have Genie bouncing around the court and serving up aces.

12. Maria Kirilenko

Yep. There sure are a lot of hotties that play professional tennis and red-hot Russian Maria Kirilenko is another prime example. She has earned nearly $7 million and has been ranked as high as number 10 but she has been away from the game for a couple of years after giving birth to a son. She has won 6 WTA and 3 ITF titles in singles as well as finishing 4th at the 2012 Olympics. Kirilenko’s return to the court would be a welcome sight. Her perfume scented panties were definitely a great prize for a few lucky members of the U.S. Army. Kirilenko sent them, along with an autographed photo to a group of soldiers that were stationed in Afghanistan. That’s an innovative way to grow your fan base!!

11. Maria Sharapova

Maria Sharapova was just seven when her family relocated to the United States following the Chernobyl disaster. A few years prior to that, Maria had already started to play tennis and was taking lessons. She participated in a tennis clinic run by tennis legend Martina Navratilova when she was six and by the time she entered the United States she was destined to be a tennis star. She has since won several titles and made a ton of dough but her clean image took a bit of a beating when she tested positive for banned substances and was suspended by the International Tennis Federation. She just recently began her comeback and, at the age of 30, Maria has a lot of time to win a few more titles and pose for a few more steamy photos.

10. Anna Sidorova

If you’ve never taken the time to watch women’s curling then you have no idea what you’re missing. Seeing some of these ladies get into form as they put just the right weight behind their throws is quite appealing and the way they vigorously work their brooms is something else. Anna Sidorova is the skip for the Russian women’s curling team and she has already won 8 World Championships, 7 European Championships, and appeared in both the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics and the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. Anna is an absolute dish, and she should be reason enough for you to watch women’s curling during the upcoming 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. Her uniform might not be as revealing as we would like but she will still show off her eye-popping figure nicely.

9. Michelle Jenneke

Michelle Jenneke is a hurdler from Australia who participated in the 2006 Rio Olympics. While she might not have had her best showing, finishing in 37th place, she looked spectacular doing it. Jenneke got international attention during the 2012 World Junior Championships in Barcelona when she was filmed doing a dance as part of her warm up routine. The video quickly got over 19 million views and it made her somewhat of a celebrity. She was even featured on The Tonight Show. Shortly after, she was ranked the 10th Most Desirable Woman by AskMen.com and also appeared in the 2013 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Not surprisingly, Michelle does quite a bit of modeling and why not? When you have a figure like this 24-year-old does, it is sure to draw loads of attention.

8. Maria Elisa Antonelli

One of the best things that Olympic organizers ever did was officially introducing beach volleyball to the list of events in 1996. What could be better than watching a bunch of sun tanned sirens in skimpy bikinis bump, set, and spike a volleyball on a sandy beach? The Brazilian women’s team never fails to disappoint and shapely women like Maria Elisa Antonelli are one of the reasons why. She might be 33-years-old but she could easily pass for being much younger. Her tight and curvaceous body is hypnotizing and makes it difficult for audiences to keep their eyes focused on the ball. She might be nearing the end of her illustrious career but you can be certain that some other steamy Brazilian babe will rise up and take her place.

7. Ellen Hoog

The international community doesn’t generally pay a whole lot of attention to women’s field hockey but it would be well worth your while to catch the Dutch National Women’s Team the next time they take to the field. You will probably notice the beautiful Ellen Hoog right away. She doesn’t necessarily stand out by dominating the game or anything like that although she’s a very good player who has enjoyed a successful career. She stands out because she is the sexiest player on the field. Ellen and her team won gold medals in 2008 and 2012 and they picked up a silver in the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics. She has the distinction of scoring two winning goals in Olympic competition and the 31-year-old Dutch delight has plenty of gas left in the tank.

6. Hope Solo

Hope Solo’s public image has taken an absolute pounding recently. The 36-year-old goalie has set many international records and enjoyed her share of big wins but she has a tendency to shoot her mouth off at times and this has caused problems for some of her teammates and coaches. Most recently, Hope was not happy with the defensive tactics that were used by the Swedish women’s soccer team at the Rio Olympics when they beat the Americans in a shootout and sent them packing. Solo angrily called the Swedish team “a bunch of cowards”. This led to her being suspended from the national team. Still, many of us don’t factor those negatives into the equation when it comes to our attraction to the gorgeous goalie. It would be nice to see her dress up once again in a skimpy soccer uniform for old time’s sake.

5. Sydney Leroux

Here we have yet another beauty and standout from the U.S. national women’s soccer team. Sydney was born in Canada where she got her start as a soccer prodigy but she relocated to the United States where she had a better opportunity to flourish. Her plan played out quite well as she has been a staple on the national team and helped them win a gold medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. You might not know it when you see her in her soccer gear but Sydney has one finely-tuned figure that she has been known to show off in various bikini pictures. Check them out and you’ll see exactly what we mean. It might be a while until we see her on the field again as she recently gave birth to a son in September 2016.

4. Gretchen Bleiler

Gretchen Bleiler was just 11 years old when she became obsessed with snowboarding. A little over a decade later, this blonde beauty took home a silver medal in the women’s halfpipe during the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin. She was favored to win gold at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics but she didn’t perform as well as expected and finished in 11th place. An accident during training for the 2014 Olympics forced her to into retirement but she’s definitely not sitting idle. She coaches and is involved in a few businesses as well as actively promoting awareness of global warming. If you think that the 36-year-old looks hot these days, you can imagine how stunning she was in her prime. She was so hot that her looks might have contributed to global warming.

3. Anna Prugova

Via: Pinterest

It would have been highly inappropriate to have included the stunning Anna Prugova on a list like this when she made her Olympic debut in 2010 with the Russian women’s national ice hockey team because she was just 16 years old. However, this bronze medal winner is about to turn 24 so she’s fair game now. It’s hard to believe that the rink doesn’t melt when this blonde bombshell of a goalie hits the ice. It’s too bad that she is wears so much hockey gear but at least there are a few lucky photographers that have captured her glorious image outside of the arena. We can look forward to seeing her in the upcoming 2018 Winter Olympics as her team goes for the gold. She currently plays for the Tornado Moscow Region in the RWHL.

2. Lolo Jones

Via: Twitter

This American Olympian’s forte is the 60-meter and 100-meter hurdles although she has also shown a flare for bobsledding. She is one of the few athletes that have participated in both the Summer and Winter Olympics. Although she was favoured to win gold at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, she unfortunately tripped on a hurdle and finished in seventh place. She has been a bit of a controversial figure during her career. Some of her teammates and other media personalities feel that she earned her place through her looks and not her talent. Sour grapes!! She has the medals and titles to prove herself more than worthy. She just recently turned 35 so it’s uncertain how many competitions she has left in her. One sure thing is that she is the most popular American track and field star on Twitter.

1. Katarina Witt

Via: Skate Guard

Katarina Witt was one of the biggest names in figure skating back in the 1980s and she looked absolutely stunning when she donned her little dress and hit the ice. Heck, she still looks great and she’s 51 years old. She won six straight European Championships and won gold medals for East Germany at the Sarajevo Olympics in 1984 and again at the Calgary Olympics in 1988. Witt gave her fans something to be happy about when she posed nude in a 1998 issue of Playboy. That issue was the second sold out edition of the iconic magazine. She stated that she was tired of her “cute, pretty, ice princess image” and she was determined to change how she was perceived. Mission accomplished!! She has since dabbled in acting and has published a book.
