15. Being pulled by a horse while on fire
Josef Tödtling from Austria set an extreme Guinness World Record of being pulled by a horse when his body was completely on fire. The longest distance he was pulled by a horse is 500 metres, which is 1640.42 ft. The flames on his body are sure to give you goosebumps.
During this daring act, there was an ATV running next to Josef and the vehicle was pouring oil over his body to maintain the fire and keep his body burning. The act was performed on June 27, 2015 in Teichalm-Fladnitz, Styria, Austria.
After setting the world record with his 500-metre deadly adventure, Josef tried the same act with a quad bike and set one more record. This time, he was pulled by a quad bike for 582 metres, which is 1,909 ft.
Guinness Book of World Record mentions his name as the only person who was pulled by a vehicle for the longest distance while his body was on fire. No matter whether you have all the resources that Josef had, never ever try to do this act because it’s very risky.
14. Longest sword swallowed
Natasha Veruschka from USA set an insane world record by swallowing a 58-centimetre sword. The lady purposefully set this world record on February 28, 2009, which is celebrated as Sword Swallowers Awareness Day.

13. Most straws stuffed in the mouth (hands off)
When it comes to eating potato chips or burgers when no one is around, many of us bring out the hungry devil inside of us. But it’s not something comparable to what this guy from UK did on August 6, 2009. Simon Elmore held 400 straws stuffed in his mouth during the Mark ‘n’ Simon Show in Germany.
As per the Guinness Book of World Records, Simon held these straws in his mouth for 10 seconds. And he is the only person who took this act beyond just the imagination and became the person with most straws stuffed in his mouth. The show was organized in Sollhuben, Bavaria, Germany. 12. Most body modifications (female)
Piercing, tattoos, and body modifications are common these days. But what if you have to set a weird Guinness World Record for maintaining the most body modifications in the world as a female? It really takes a lot to get this done.
Just have a look at this picture of Maria Jose Cristerna from Mexico, as she has a total of 49 body modifications, the most body modifications on a female body ever seen and recorded. Maria is also popular as ‘The Mexican Vampire Lady.’
Maria has different transdermal implants on her forehead and she also has a huge tattoo coverage her entire body. Her arms, chest, and face are completely covered in tattoos, and she also has multiple piercings in her lips, eyebrows, tongue, nose, belly button, nipples, and earlobes.
11. Farthest distance to blow a pea
Are your lungs so strong that you can blow a pea several metres away? If you believe that your lungs are capable enough to do so, be ready to break this crazy world record set by blowing a pea to 7.51 metres and away.
Germany’s Andre Ortolf puffed the pea to 24 ft 7.66 inches. If you want to break this record, just develop your lung capacity similar to Andre’s, and then find a plain, smooth surface and a standard-sized pea. No, the frozen one is not going to help in any way.
Just like how you blow out birthday candles, blow the pea away as far as you can. The record obviously seems very easy to break, but it will surely need a lot of determination to reach this level.
10. Most telephone directories torn in one minute (female)
You’d not want to mess with Linsey Lindberg, as she is one of the strongest women in the world who can crush fruits with her bicep, tear telephone directories in half, bend metal bars and break metal chains with her super strong body. If you rip-off books and newspapers, no matter in what mood you do this, you can turn it into a Guinness World Record.
Linsey holds the record for the most telephone directories torn by a female in a minute. She tore 5 telephone directories that are each over 1,000 pages. The act was performed on November 16, 2014 at the Central Market in Austin, Texas, USA.
9. Most rotations hanging from a power drill in one minute
These weird Guinness World Record is amazing and is achievable only if you are too strong, especially your upper body. If you wish to push the limits of human ability, this feat will surely require you to build a great upper body strength.
However it looks safe, but it still is not something recommended to try at home. The insane world record for the most rotations hanging from a power drill in a minute is in the name of The Huy Giang of Germany. He achieved 148 rotations on the set of ‘Guinness World Records’ on December 2003 in Madrid, Spain.
8. Farthest tightrope walk in high heels
On July 10, 2014, Russia’s Oxana Seroshtan set an unbelievable Guinness World Record titled ‘farthest tightrope walk in high heels’ by walking 15 metres. The lady set this record on the set of ‘Lo Show dei Record’ in Milan, Italy.
You may have seen many people walking on rope, and most of them hold a pipe as a balancing aid, but Oxana didn’t follow the same pattern. She used a fan in a hand and walked 7.5 metres straight on rope. Then she walked the same distance back. So, finally she completed 24 ft 7.2 inch rope walk twice, breaking the previously set record.
7. Fastest time to crush three watermelons with the thighs
Olga Liashchuk from Ukraine, on June 26, 2014 crushed 3 watermelons between her thighs in just 14.65 seconds. She set a record for the fastest time to crush 3 watermelons between thighs.
The extreme and bizarre show of strength was staged and the act was performed at the Mediaset Studios in Milan, Italy. Olga aspires to become the world’s strongest woman. She said that she thought of the act an easier feat than the many other strength records, but she realized that it is not as easy as it seems. Olga was also invited on a TV show to perform the act live, and she did it.
6. Fastest time to burst three balloons with the back
Bursting balloons can be a perfect act to set Guinness World Records. Balloons can help you transform rooms with colorful decorations, and only a few balloons can help you set world record.
Germany’s Julia Gunthel, known as Zlata holds the world record for the fastest time to burst three balloons with the back. She can burst three balloons with her back in just 12 seconds. Julia set this record on November 23, 2007 on the set of Guinness World Records – Die Grossten Weltrekorde in Cologne, Germany.
Can’t we just lie down on some balloons and burst them with back, instead of doing this extremely challenging act Julia did?
5. Farthest arrow shot using feet
Nancy Siefker from USA set a world record by shooting farthest arrow using her feet. The lady shot an arrow and hit a target measuring 5.5 inches. The distance covered by the shot was 20 ft (6.09 metres).
On June 20, 2013, during the ‘Guinness World Records Unleashed’ hosted in Los Angeles, California, USA, Nancy set this record. As per the Guinness World Records, the guideline for the required target was not more than 12 inches in diameter. The lady hit that target so close. The best thing is that Nancy performed this act using her feet as you can see in the picture above. Her confidence about perfect balancing and shooting is absolutely matchless.
4. Most clothes pegs clipped to the face in one minute
Withstanding an extreme pain, Silvio Sabba from Italy set the world record for the most clothes pegs clipped to face in a minute. Silvio, on December 27, 2012 set this record in Pioltello, Italy. He successfully clipped 51 clothes pegs in one minute.
He’s pictured above showing the pegs over his face. Undoubtedly, it was a tremendously painful experience for Silvio, but he successfully managed to achieve it and set an insane world record that not only seems challenging, but is also a painful one.
Many others have tried to achieve the same, but Silvio still manages to keep his name in the Guinness World Record.
3. Longest officially released song
Even movies are becoming shorter these days, but the longest officially released song is even longer than many blockbuster movies. The song titled “In The Garden” is 3 hours, 1 minute and 50 seconds long. It is sung by PC III label Pipe Choir (USA).
The song was also released officially through Apple’s iTunes, Google Play, Spotify and Amazon on August 16, 2015. The previous record was also held by the same group PC III and again they beat their own record of the longest officially released song by releasing “In The Garden.” The artists are Kelley Bostwick and Michael Bostwick.

How much can you spend on cosmetic procedures? This lady, Cindy Jackson from USA has set a world record for the most cosmetic procedures. Cindy spent a whooping US$99,600 and as a result, she got 47 cosmetic procedures that include, but are not limited to her nine full-scale surgical operations.
The operations are being done since 1988 and Cindy has got two nose operations, three full facelifts, two eye lifts, knees, abdomen, thigh and jawline surgery, liposuction, cheek and lip implants, chin bone reduction, chemical peels and semi-permanent make-up. 1. Fastest typing with the nose
Meet the man who set the record for fastest typing with nose. Vinod Kumar Chaudhary from New Delhi, India is known for the methods he uses for typing with his nose. He achieved this skill after intense practice. As a professional typist, Vinod was inspired to do something different and he started typing with nose.
Guinness World Records team challenged Vinod to type the prescribed 103 characters and Vinod was asked to type the characters in the shortest time. He achieved the new record by typing the characters in 46.30 seconds. On December 22, 2014, the act was performed at Jawaharlal Nehru University campus in New Delhi, India.
