Rob leaked some intimate photos of Blac Chyna, something that may very well actually be a criminal offense. They’ve both brought their daughter into the mix (at least verbally) by claiming the other was an unfit parent. It’s just a whole big mess. Naya dished in her recent memoir, Sorry Not Sorry, spilling that her ex-fiance ended their relationship on the internet (yikes!) after cheating with pop starlet Ariana Grande. She also later claimed that the rapper had stolen Rolexes from her house, which is a pretty wild accusation, particularly because he likely could have bought himself whatever he wanted – any theft would have been out of sheer pettiness. Big Sean wasn’t about to just take it quietly – he released the track “I Don’t F*(k With You” in response, which everyone has speculated is about Naya. She tried to shake off the drama by quickly getting married to another man, Ryan Dorsey, and having a baby. Hopefully her life is far happier and more drama free now!

When their relationship started, everyone thought Katy Perry and Russell Brand were a bit of an odd couple. Okay, seriously – after all the drama with Rihanna went public, you would think that women would stay far, far away from rapper Chris Brown. TMZ spilled the details that Brown had a baby with model Nia Guzman, which he hid from his partner. Can you imagine? Not only did she find out her boyfriend, who she thought was committed to her and her alone, was cheating, but that he had brought a baby into the world as a result of that cheating and hidden it all? She broke up with him via Twitter and the rest is history – frankly, given what he’s done, Brown deserved a lot worse and Tran almost took the high road in that situation.

Honestly, we can’t really imagine what on earth Denise Richards saw in Charlie Sheen initially, but the fact is, their relationship was strong enough that the duo actually got married and were husband and wife for about five years. However, there was trouble in paradise all along, it seems, and when she was six months pregnant Richards decided she had had enough of his drug abuse, anger issues, and gambling issues, and filed for divorce from the actor. There was a crazy custody battle over their daughters, which ended up in Richards actually getting a restraining order against her former husband, and years later (like, almost ten years later), Sheen let loose and did everything from insulting Richards’ skills as a mother to calling her a terrorist. Seriously – you wouldn’t think drama would stretch across a decade, but in this case, it has – and who knows if Sheen will start it up again.

Robin Thicke and Paula Patton were high school sweethearts and had been married for nearly a decade (which is astounding in Hollywood) before their drama started up. In 2014, the starlet separated from her musician husband, and she took the high road by not really spilling the reason why. Given his behaviour and some of the things the press leaked, many assume it was because Thicke had been cheating, but Patton didn’t drag his name through the mud. However, Thicke wasn’t about to go out quietly. He released personal songs, he named his 2014 album after her, he dedicated songs to her at awards shows after they had been separated, and basically just spent a few months publicly embarrassing himself trying to win her back. It didn’t work, and even Thicke has since admitted his actions were cringe-worthy. Honestly, it’s almost impressive for a breakup drama to be this one sided – Patton just wanted out of the relationship, ASAP, and Thicke was trying to do anything possible to repair things.

They were both a little quirky and unusual in their own way, and seemed to make one another happy. And, they’ve been pretty low drama about previous relationships, so no one expected things would go so sour when the relationship went south. Their split was accompanied by Heard requesting a restraining order, accusing Depp of both verbally and physically abusing her. A story was leaked about how Depp injured himself in a fit of rage and wrote “Billy Bob” and “Easy Amber” on the wall in paint (he was accusing her of cheating). Heard leaked a cell phone video of a drunk and aggressive Depp. It was just a whole situation. Then, all the women started speaking up about how they were cheating with Tiger. It ended with a big divorce settlement and Nordegren getting the children, but at the time it was a massive drama. There have been breakup dramas involving NFL stars and NBA stars and other professional athletes, but who ever thought one would start up with a golfer?

Calvin Harris doesn’t seem to be the best guy to date, based on how he breaks up with women. Most people know about his high profile relationship with pop starlet Taylor Swift – after all, everyone knows about all of Swift’s relationships, given that she usually writes songs about them and is quite vocal about her love drama. However, Harris also dated another pop starlet, British bombshell Rita Ora. When he had had enough of that relationship, he broke up with her on Twitter – which is humiliating enough. Then, he decided to amp up the drama level by banning Ora from performing a song they had written together at the Teen Choice Awards. It’s basically the dictionary definition of pettiness. Both of them are fairly aloof, silent types, so they didn’t really spill many details about their relationship to the press – they just were spotted together enough, and released one or two comments from their publicists, to confirm that they were an item. That is, until Kristen Stewart was caught cheating very publicly. Photos surfaced of the actress getting cozy with Rupert Sanders, the director on a film she was starring in. The situation was made even messier by the fact that not only was Kristen Stewart in a very public relationship with Pattinson, Sanders was actually married! Pattinson and Stewart had an on-again, off-again thing for a while, but eventually decided they just couldn’t make it work.

Former child star Dylan Sprouse (who acted alongside his brother Cole Sprouse in many roles) made headlines a few years ago when nude photos of his chiseled physique were leaked. However, in this case, it wasn’t a hacker at work – it was a disgruntled ex girlfriend. Apparently, after Sprouse and his ex split, she decided to stir up some drama by going to the press with some information (such as the fact that Sprouse was working as a waiter) as well as a few X-rated photos. Sprouse seemed to realize very quickly that there wasn’t a lot he could do, and simply remedied the situation by being mature and having a bit of a sense of humour about it all. His ex has long been forgotten, so we’re not sure what she thought her machinations would achieve, but the public still loves the Sprouse boys and they’ve forgotten all about who they used to date.

2. Kelly Rutherford and Daniel Giersch

You may have thought Kelly Rutherford had to deal with her share of drama on the set of Gossip Girl, given the amount of crazy things that went on in the script of that show, but it turns out that the scripts paled to the drama going on in her actual life – an international, no holds barred custody battle. Rutherford filed for divorce back in 2012, while she was pregnant with the couple’s second child – that’s a messy enough breakup to begin with. Then, the custody battle kicked off. And it wasn’t as if the two were deciding between which Manhattan apartment their children would be in every weekend – Giersch was living in Monaco, and wanted the children to spend all their time there. Rutherford took to the press with desperate pleas, trying to get her children back, but in the end Giersch was granted full custody and Rutherford’s children were taken to live in Monaco. What a nightmare!

1. Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson

Nowadays, these two are on good terms – but when they were breaking up (twice) it was a whole different story. Four days after meeting, the two decided to tie the knot and had two children together. They split in 1998, got back together in 2001, and then split again. In the meantime, they dealt with everything from an intimate tape being released to Anderson claiming that Lee had given her Hepatitis C, thanks to sharing tattoo needles. Anderson also accused Lee of physically hurting her while she was breastfeeding their child. The two have certainly settled down now, and have very little drama in their personal lives, but back in the day they were a hugely public couple that didn’t shy away from the tabloids at all. In fact, they’re kind of lucky that they were at their height in the late ‘90s – if they had been a huge deal today, we shudder to see what that breakup would have been like, splashed across social media.
